 MCX-, RCX-145 cycle as long as supply is pressurized.  MCX-, RCX-545 cycle only while signal is supplied, resting always in start position.  MCX-, RCX-145, pilot operated in one direction with RETRAK return, normally require a momentary signal. |
In action, supply from the pressurized cylinder port bleeds into the return pilot chamber. A sensitive diaphragm, operated from the opposite or exhaust side, keeps the chamber open to atmosphere until exhaust pressure in the cylinder reaches zero. RETRAK senses zero pressure and then instantly and positively shifts the main valve. RETRAK is not critical to supply pressure and no adjustment is required in the field. Cylinder speed may be set as required by means of the exhaust controls furnished. RETRAK is designed to simplify circuitry and to replace limit valves in those installations not requiring positive AND feedback, the condition being assumed that cylinder will be fully extended when exhaust flow is no longer present. In many actions such as RETRAK is precisely suited to the inherently variable operational requirements. All models are normally fitted with auxiliary manual operators. Side porting is considered standard for stocking. To specify bottom porting, change letter "X" to "B" in all models. For aluminum sub-plate change second digit to 7 eg. MPX-175. (Aluminum not available in bottom porting.)  |
