Air Cylinders
BACHMAN CYLINDERS are satisfactory for air and many hydraulic applications to 125 psi at normal temperatures. Constructed of hard-coated aluminum, hard chromed steel and phenolic laminates, they will resist wear and corrosion over a long period in light to medium duty. Phenolic heads provide unexcelled slide bearings while the light weight and resilient materials give maximum resistance to shock and impact.

Standard Buna-n 0-rings are used for rod, piston and barrel end seals.

Bores 1" through 1 1/2" have rear center hole for swivel mount. These are also available with spring return to 4" stroke, adding 3/8" per inch of normal stroke length.

Bores 2" and over are of heavier construction, with four tie rods, and have four mounting holes.Bores above 1 1/2" are not normally available as spring return cylinders. For double rod end cylinders, available as standard in 2" bore, add 1/4" to length. Stroke lengths to 72".

AIR CYLINDERS-TRANSPARENT.
Cylinder housing is a block of optically clear acrylic. Buna-n 0-rings are used for piston, rod and end cap seals. Cylinders are satisfactory for pressures,under non-shock loads, up to 100 psi at temperatures not exceeding 180° F. Typical applications are assembly machines, test fixtures, feed mechanisms, etc., as well as for test and instruction circuits in schools and industry. Piston rod is 3/8" diameter and in Models CS & CD (shown here are CS-712 & CD-720) extends 1/2" with 10-32 ft. In Models GS & GD rod extends 1-1/8" with 3/8"-24 thread.
